Dr. Child received her degree from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 and purchased Abbot Animal Hospital in 2018. Dr. Child has both general and emergency medicine experience and enjoys promoting lifelong wellness in her patients.
Having had pets most her life, Dr. Child's love for animals led her to become a veterinarian. Her two mixed breed dogs, Bailey and Howard, passed away when her children where very young. But in hey opened their home and their hearts a couple of years ago to a adorable pit mix named Daisy.
When she is not at work, Dr. Child enjoys spending time with her husband,2 children Ellie and Max; and ofcourse Daisy She and her family like hiking and walking outdoors.
